The Oil and Fuel 65 Gallon over Pack Salvage Drum Spill Kit is ideal for dealing with intermediate sized spills of oil based liquids such as fuels, lubricants and other hydrocarbon based products. Our oil absorbents are hydrophobic, meaning that they can be used for the selective recovery of oil from water.

Description

The kit consists of cost effective absorbents that are manufactured from high quality melt blown polypropylene and It is constructed using a strong tubular knitted outer fabric sleeve allows for durability, expansion and improved speed of absorption. Filled with a super absorbent polymer that retains all liquids absorbed. Ideal for all workplace spills and leaks.

Instructions for use:
It is important that a suitable and sufficient Risk Assessment is carried out
on each incident and correct PPE is worn. Depending on the nature of the spill a combination of the contents of the kit may be used.

Compatibility:
The absorbents within this kit may be safely used with all liquids immiscible with
water, such as hydrocarbons, solvents, mineral oils. Water-repellency exceeds requirements of BS 7959-2:2000. Before any use in a spill situation a proper risk assessment should be carried out and all hazardous properties of the liquid or dangerous reactions taken into account.

Disposal:
Used sorbents may be disposed of by landfill or incineration, in accordance with local
and national regulations, taking into account the classification of the liquid absorbed.
